In Belém you will visit the factory of the famous and delicious Pastéis de Belém and you will have the opportunity to taste them.

Driving along the coast, close to the mouth of the Rio Tejo (Tagus River), passing by the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos (Jerónimos Monastery), Padrão dos Descobrimentos (Discoveries Monument) and Torre de Belém (Belém Tower).

You shall continue to the Casino do Estoril Gardens towards Cascais where you will take a walk in this charming fishing village. You will then make a short stop in Boca do Inferno (Hell’s Mouth) to watch the merciless impact of the sea beating the rocks of a cave made by the sea, causing a spectacular effect.

After a comforting and typical Portuguese lunch, you will continue towards the Cabo da Roca (Cape Roca), the westernmost point of Europe where you’ll stop for a while.

Continuing your journey along the coast, you’ll pass by Praia do Guincho (Guincho’s Beach) with its magnificent panoramic views.

Before coming back to Lisbon, you’ll have a surprising visit to the Palácio Marquês de Pombal (the Marquis of Pombal Palace) and its wine cellars. The Marquis produced wine in his farm in Oeiras and D. José I (King José 1st) offered this wine to the Court of the Chinese Emperor in Beijing in 1782. Besides this wonderful visit that will end your tour in Cascais, you’ll have the opportunity to taste this rare and generous wine.
