1. Our Contract
All bookings are made with Because You're Singular, Unipessoal Lda - RNAVT 7665 - represented by its trade mark Singulartrips . By booking a trip with us you agree to these Booking Conditions (which constitute the entire agreement between you and Singulartrips) and your booking will be accepted by us on this basis. The services to be provided are those referred to in your confirmation e-mail.
2. Acceptance of Booking and Final Payment
§ Registration will be accepted only with a payment of a minimum of 50% of total program amount. The remainder 50% will be paid 7 days before the Experience start. If this balance is not paid on or before the due date we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled.
§ We reserve the right to consider invalid any registration for which payment has not been made under the conditions mentioned.
§ Our guided programs have a minimum of 2 or 4 participants depending on the program.
§ There could be an additional payment if the registration is made for less than 2 or 4 participants, depending on the program.
3. Your Details
In order for us to confirm your program or experience you must provide all the requested details, including full name, date of birth, nationality and any pre-existing conditions you have which may affect your ability to complete your programs or experiences.
4. Cancellation by the traveller
If you cancel your booking, cancellation fees will apply. A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation. If you cancel a trip, the following costs will apply:
§ Cancellation done 30 days or more from the beginning of the tour: full payment to be returned by Singulartrips except bank transfers or transfer costs.
§ Cancellation done less than 30 days and more than 10 days from the beginning of the tour: 50% of full payment to be returned.
§ Cancellation in 10 or less than 10 days from the beginning of the tour: full payment to be made by the client.
5. Cancellations by Singulartrips
We reserve the right to cancel any program or experience up to 24 hours prior starting the experience subject to clause 6.
We may cancel a program or an experience at any time prior to departure if, due to natural disasters or other external events, it is not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary.
In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be issued to you.
We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking.
The price of your trip includes:
§ all transport listed in the ‘Included’ section
§ all activities as listed in the ‘Included’ section
§ all meals as listed in the ‘Included’ section
§ sightseeing and meals as listed in the ‘Included’ section
§ the services of a group leader as described in the ‘Included’ section
The price of your experience does not include:
§ international or internal flights
§ airport transfers unless specified
§ meals other than those specified in the 'Included' section
§ optional activities and all personal expenses
§ travel insurance
§ tips and gratuities
8. Change of Itinerary
While we endeavor to operate all experiences as described, we reserve the right to change the trip itinerary. In order to ensure greater safety and quality in carrying out activities, Singulartrips reserves the right to change hours, location and structure in case of inadequate weather conditions.
You appreciate and acknowledge that the nature of this type of travel requires considerable flexibility and you should allow for alternatives. The itinerary provided for each trip is representative of the types of activities contemplated but it is understood that the route, schedules, itineraries, amenities and mode of transport may be subject to alteration without prior notice due to local circumstances or events.
10. Responsibilities during Experiences
§ Experience Start Date: It is your responsibility to be at the meeting point at the specific experience departure or begining on the day and time booked. We are not responsible for any losses due to cancelled or missed flights, changed flight itineraries, late arrivals, or early departures.
§ The customer must respect the time set for beginning of activities as well as all the times that are defined per Singulartrips programs and experiences.
§ On guided tours, the decision of the local guide is final on all matters that may threaten the safety and well-being of the group or individual travellers.
11. Security and authority on trip
In guided activities, Singulartrips guides are trained and besides guiding the group, they take responsibility for making decisions in the field whenever there are unexpected events. Customers should respect the decisions and directions of the guide.
12. Accommodation and Meals
The accommodation that Singulartrips may suggest has been carefully chosen according to the characteristics of our Tours and Experiences. We favour local sites that have character and a special atmosphere, either by location, comfort, friendliness of the owners, or the rustic way they integrate into the landscape in order to provide a pleasant stay, adequate rest and activity. As we aim to facilitate an authentic experience, we always favour accommodation that makes you live as locals do.
The accommodation and meals suggested for the tours are always identified and described in the program presented by Singulartrips when you make a booking with us.

Personal accident insurance: Policy number 0005-10003822-000. Death or Permanent disability: 21.879,00 Euros; treatment and repatriation expenses - 3.829,00 Euros.
14. Use of photographs and images
Any customers image, captured by the monitors or Singulartrips employees at any of our activities, can be used by Singulartrips, in the illustration of promotional material and advertising company such as brochures, slides, videos and the Internet. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable licence to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.
If any customer doesn’t agree with this policy should notify us by e-mail until 24 hours in advance from the activity or program start.
If you have a complaint about your program or experience please inform your tour leader or our local representative at the time in order that they can attempt to rectify the matter. If satisfaction is not reached through these means then any further complaint should be put in writing to us within 30 days of the end of the tour to our address:

16. Governing law
The laws of Portugal govern these Booking Conditions to the fullest extent allowable. Any disputes in connection with a trip, program, experience or these Terms & Conditions must be initiated in the courts of Portugal.
